Barrett Burns

Barrett is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of VantageScore Solutions LLC, which is the company behind the VantageScore[R] credit-scoring model. Before joining VantageScore Solutions as CEO, Burns served as a senior executive and global risk manager at top-tier financial institutions, including U.S. Trust, Ford Motor Credit, BankOne and Citibank. He also serves on a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards, including the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), whose missions include improving access and understanding of consumer credit in the United States. When he's not on the road talking about credit scoring and consumer lending, he enjoys skiing, golf, and spending time with his new grandson.

David Coleman

David has 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including 22 years at Fannie Mae. One of his key accomplishments while at Fannie Mae was building and rolling out Desktop Underwriter[R]. He also ran his own consulting business, The Summit Point Group. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, David has been a longtime resident of Northern Virginia and currently lives on a small farm outside of Washington, D.C., in Hamilton, Virginia. He spends as much time as possible outdoors, and is an avid gardener. David enjoys bird watching and spots hawks, eagles, kingfishers, woodpeckers, owls and an occasional osprey on his farm. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and is the father of two grown children.

Robert Stowe England

Born in York, South Carolina, Robert has traveled extensively, including to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Argentina and Northern Ireland. A Duke graduate with a major in English, he was associate editor of the student newspaper. His reporting career began with The Hartford Times in Connecticut, after which he detoured into market research/ advertising. He returned to journalism as editor of the Delaware Valley Business Magazine, Philadelphia, and then wrote for Insight magazine. He has been a frequent contributor to Mortgage Banking since responding to an ad for freelancers in 1988.
