John Bell

John is a Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan He also pulls for Northwestern University's football and basketball teams, as well as the University of Illinois' teams. A product of Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, he has lived in Chicago for more than 50 years. He first came to the Windy City as a teenager. When not writing about real estate, he reads crime fiction and enjoys the theater. He's the creator of what he considers the world's finest barbecue sauce. John is married, and has two daughters and three granddaughters.

Steve is director of strategic research in the Economic & Strategic Research Group at Fannie Mae During his nearly 27 years at Fannie Mae. he has held a variety of management roles specializing in innovation, corporate strategy and finance. In his current job, Steve provides market research-driven insights across the housing finance value chain. Previously, he developed various strategic initiatives, led the Corporate Venture Capital division and developed Fannie Mae's initial REMIC modeling capabilities Steve earned an M.B.A. in finance and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of California. Berkeley, and graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.

Joe Dombrowski

Joe was born in Denver and currently resides in Chicago, where he cheers for the Chicago Cubs. San Francisco 49ers and Colorado Avalanche. He graduated from St. Joseph Seminary College in Los Altos. California, with a degree in philosophy. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the servicing software products from Fiserv, a company he has been with since 1991. With more than 25 years of experience. Joe has a comprehensive background in the industry, both in servicing and technology. In addition to his long career in lending.
