Mortgage marketing campaigns are missing out.

Indians represent an attractive group to reach in marketing mortgages. Highly educated and pro-homeownership, Indians respond to targeted marketing. So why is so little of it done by lenders?

What if we told you there is a large and fast-growing segment of the population that is a mortgage company's dream yet is rarely targeted in marketing campaigns? Asian Indians--with the highest level of education, income, savings and homeownership--are often overlooked in marketing campaigns across the country, yet are ideal consumers for mortgage companies.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Indians are the fastest-growing segment of the Asian population in the United States, totaling almost 2 million. They make up the sixth-largest ethnic community in the country and the third-largest immigrant group, with an estimated 250,000 Indians entering the United States each year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
